What sizes do you offer?

We pattern and construct clothing for newborns up through kids size twelve. Our sizing runs true to age. Dresses are generally available in sizes Newborn to Kids Age 6. Capes are letter-sized and fit children from Newborn to Age 12.

If your child is between sizes or you are selecting an outerwear layer like a poncho or cape, we recommend sizing up to extend the life of the piece across seasons.If you have questions about specific garment measurements or need guidance on fit for rapidly growing children, reach out before ordering. Size charts can be found in the photo gallery section of every listing.

Do you accept custom orders or special sizing requests?

Yes. We are always happy to accommodate custom sizing adjustments, specific fabric combinations, or special requests for milestone occasions. Contact our studio with your ideas and measurements, and we will work with you to craft the right piece.

What should I know about items made from vintage or recycled fabrics?

We select vintage and reclaimed textiles for their unique patterns, character, and visual charm. While these pieces are laundered and inspected for structural strength before cutting, vintage textiles may feature subtle variations in weave or gentle surface patina that reflect their history.

What is a car seat poncho and how does it work?

Our hooded capes double as car seat ponchos to ensure reliable cold-weather warmth without compromising car seat safety. Bulky coats leave dangerous slack under harness straps during travel. A car seat poncho is placed over your child after they are securely buckled, keeping the straps flush against the body while the cape drapes safely over the outside.

How are your fabrics prepared and cared for?

We work with fine cotton corduroys, brushed flannels, fleece, patterned cottons, and carefully curated vintage and recycled textiles. Many fabrics are thoroughly pre-washed with scent-free detergent prior to cutting in order to minimize uneven shrinkage. Garments are made to be machine-washed with a very few exceptions such as wool garments that need to be hand-washed or dry-cleaned.

How quickly do orders ship?

Ready-to-ship garments are packed and mailed quickly from our Richmond studio, typically within 1 to 2 business day. Made-to-order garments require hands-on cutting and sewing time, generally dispatching in five to seven business days. Tracking details are emailed as soon as a shipping label is created.

Sending a gift?

All orders are thoughtfully wrapped in white tissue paper, and we often add a cloth bow when we are not too busy. If you’d like colored tissue or wrapping paper, please add “gift wrap” to your cart note. We can also include a gift receipt without prices upon request, just add “gift receipt” to your note. Gift wrapping is simple tissue-paper wrapping with a cloth ribbon but does not include a gift box.

Do you offer local pickup or shopping in Richmond?

Orders placed online ship directly to your door. If you are local to Richmond, Virginia, select seasonal styles are available at neighborhood retail stockists in Church Hill, or you may contact our studio directly prior to ordering to coordinate local pickup arrangements or in-person shopping with a quick studio tour.

Need to correct your shipping address?

Please contact us as soon as possible. For your protection and ours, we’re unable to redirect orders to a different address after checkout. If your order hasn’t shipped, we may be able to cancel and refund it so you can place a new order with the correct shipping information. Once an order has shipped, we can’t change or reroute the delivery address.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide from our Virginia studio, though certain destinations may be unavailable due to local compliance regulations. International shipping rates and delivery estimates are based on our shipping settings and your destination. Where available, Shopify may estimate duties and import taxes at checkout when the destination and product information support it. These amounts are estimates, and final customs charges may vary. Duties, taxes, or customs fees not collected at checkout may be charged upon delivery.

What is your satisfaction guarantee and return policy?

We stand behind our craftsmanship and want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If a garment does not meet your expectations, we offer a full refund or exchange on unworn, unwashed items within 30 days of receiving your order. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer.

Customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in their order, without giving a reason. EU customers can submit a return or cancellation request through their customer account . Once we receive the returned items, we’ll process the refund within 14 days and issue it to the original payment method. Please note that the right of withdrawal may not apply to custom or personalized items made to your specifications
